What makes DockMeet different?
Connections only happen on mutual intent. Both businesses signal interest before a conversation opens, so there is no cold outreach and no inbox full of irrelevant contacts.
Who can join DockMeet?
Importers, exporters, manufacturers, wholesalers, sourcing companies and international trade service providers across industries. You register under one of three roles: international sales, international procurement, or trade services.
Is DockMeet a marketplace?
No. Nothing is listed for sale and no commission is taken on trades. DockMeet is a professional network built around stated requirements.
Is pre-launch registration free?
Yes. Registering is free, discovery stays free, and credits are only used when you choose to engage with a specific business.
How does DockMeet verification work?
Three levels. Level 1 confirms your identity by email and is mandatory. Level 2 links your LinkedIn profile. Level 3 verifies your business documents. Each level adds credibility to your profile and unlocks badges.
What is the Founding Member badge?
The first 100 eligible members who register before launch receive a Founding Member badge on their profile, higher ranking in search and discovery, and early access to new features.
Will my contact details be publicly visible?
No. Profiles show your professional and business identity. Contact details are shared only after both sides accept a connection.
When will DockMeet officially launch?
Pre-launch registration opened on 11 October 2026. The full launch date will be announced to registered members first.
What are the primary roles I can register under?
International Sales Team (you sell or export), International Procurement Team (you buy or import), or International Trade Service Provider (you move, clear, inspect, finance or insure trade).
What information do I need to provide during registration?
Your name, work email, business name and role, the products or services you deal in, and the countries you serve or source from. Verification documents are optional and come later.
Why does DockMeet use LinkedIn verification?
It adds a second layer of identity assurance tied to a professional identity you already maintain. It unlocks Growth Partner badge eligibility.
Will DockMeet post or message on my LinkedIn account?
No. LinkedIn is used only to confirm who you are. DockMeet never posts, messages or reads your connections.
Can I invite my internal trade operations team?
Yes. Team members join under your business and get their own professional profile, without registering as a separate company.
How does the referral programme work?
Share your invite link. When someone you invite completes Level 1 verification, you both earn reward credits. Credits earn once per verified user and never expire.
What happens to my credits if a connection is rejected?
Credits are blocked when you send an intent request, not deducted. If the other side declines or does not respond, they are fully released back to your balance.
Can I update my information later?
Yes. Products, services, countries and team members can be edited any time from your dashboard.
Be there when the intent is there.
